  Trainer Training for Your Staff

One of the most important aspects of an organization's ability to maintain organizational change is their capacity to provide on-going, quality training without having to rely repeatedly on outside consultants. This training provides solid conflict resolution skills and enhances group and team development. The four-day program begins with hands-on instruction from Drs. Susan and Peter Glaser.

Day One
Conflict Resolution provides participants with the capacity to raise delicate issues without evoking defensiveness, respond to criticism by getting to the root of the problem, and understanding the power of praise and encouragement.

Day Two
Team Development provides work groups with the capacity to reach consensus even when strong individuals hold extremely divergent points of view. This unit clarifies the mystery and confusion surrounding decision-making, clarifying what the various types are and when to use each. This unit also provides a model for collaborative problem solving so that participants learn to follow an elegantly simple step-by-step model

to move from an open-ended question to championed action plans that everyone owns and supports.

Day Three
Training Skills focus on how to teach these various components. Participants learn from workbooks and professionally developed team building videos titled "Mastery of Leadership Communication." These videotapes allow people with no training experience to become master teachers of conflict resolution and team development. These videotapes also allow consistency of instruction over time and across instructors.

Day Four
Feedback allows participants to actually teach the various components of this unit and receive quality feedback from consultants and peers.

In four days (or less if your trainers are already familiar with the modules BreakThrough Conflict and Hardwiring Teamwork), your organization is equipped with the capacity to deal with difficult interpersonal situations and complex organizational issues with courage and precision.
