Metro Area Regional Solutions Coordinator Office of the Governor, State of Oregon Yesterday afternoon twelve department directors gathered and I facilitated a session using the Glaser problem solving model. We finished the meeting ten minutes ahead of schedule, leaving with a much better idea of the nature of the “problem,” two dozen good ideas and five top ideas that we will now advance with two or three champions identified for each one.
I prefaced the meeting with a caution that that this method is not miracle-working, but I have to admit: when we were done, it kind of felt that way! Curtis Brown
