"This was hands down the best 6 hours I have invested in developing my skills. The approach to learning through demonstrations and then putting our new knowledge into practice in breakout rooms meant it embedded the new learnings. I can't wait to use the new techniques and formula for running an effective, engaging and quick meeting."

While I still do not like controversy, I will not shy away from it going forward."

"Susan and Peter skillfully equipped medical staff leaders and managers in our hospital with the skills needed to affect the system of care we must implement on a daily basis. The anxiety that has formerly bred resistance has found a new context in what the Glasers term the "juice." Our staff immediately began to engage differently – feeling confident and inspired. The Glasers have embraced and championed our institution, and our staff is thrilled with the new tools and influence they have mastered."

"Reading the Glasers book, Be Quiet, Be Heard: The Paradox of Persuasion, I was carried from one page to the next as I gleaned many concepts and strategies that are so relevant to my everyday work life, as well as my personal life. I see this as a "how to" manual that one almost wants to carry around to help with those daily communication challenges. Great tactics are presented, all the way from handling conflict to giving a public speech. This book is one valuable suggestion after another. What a great way to synthesize years of experience and knowledge into one location."

"One of our account executives was vying for a position that required a visit to Corporate with a presentation as part of her final interview. Using the Glaser method for persuasive presentations, she got rave reviews and a job offer. The best part was that she did such a fabulous job that Corporate wants to have her as a coach to other colleagues as they prepare their own presentations. Using the Glaser techniques, she absolutely stood out in the crowd. With one presentation she doubled her salary and stepped up her career path."

Yesterday afternoon twelve department directors gathered and I facilitated a session using the Glaser problem solving model. We finished the meeting ten minutes ahead of schedule, leaving with a much better idea of the nature of the “problem,” two dozen good ideas and five top ideas that we will now advance with two or three champions identified for each one.
I prefaced the meeting with a caution that that this method is not miracle-working, but I have to admit: when we were done, it kind of felt that way!
