Learning how to delegate tasks that I knew I could do better and faster, but must be delegated because I had more urgent and important things to do.

Indeed Greg: One of the most difficult challenges we’ve seen as managers move up the hierarchy of their organization is their ability to drop tasks no longer deemed worthy of their time. “I can do it faster and better and besides, I like doing it…” is a common refrain we have heard over the years. It does take fortitude to let go of what is sometimes decades of ingrained behavior patterns. Thanks for this contribution.
